Session Review

Session Review

When a gaming session ends, Playto opens a word-selection dialog so you can curate what goes into your Word Book.

What you see

  • Candidate words from the session, with the sentence context they appeared in and the translation pair.
  • Proper nouns listed separately so you can skip names quickly.
  • Frequency hints — words seen two or more times are pre-selected by default.

What you can do per word

  • Save — add the word to your Word Book.
  • Blacklist — never auto-save this word again.
  • Add a glossary entry — a custom translation that overrides the AI for future captures of that word in this game profile.

Not ready? Review later keeps the session under “Waiting for review” on Home, and Skip keeps none of its words (the translation log still has them). Words you save go into your Word Book and show up in Review.

Tonight’s Album

After the words, Playto shows the scenes it kept from the session. Every scene starts checked: uncheck the ones you don’t want, or step through them with Keep & next / Don’t save. Unchecked scenes are removed when you finish. What you keep goes to the Album.

Quick Review and session score

A short Quick Review of flashcards can follow; Skip to score goes straight to the end. The review ends on a session score card with the game, the date, the words you met and saved, and a rank.

Session rank tiers (by words encountered):

  • Nice (1-49) · Good (50-99) · Great (100-299) · Awesome (300-499) · Marvelous (500-699) · Incredible (700-999) · Legendary (1000+)

You can open a past session’s score again from History.

Session history

Saved sessions appear in the Journal tab with their game profile, language pair, and timestamp. You can revisit any session's word list later.
