1. Flashcard
Classic flip-card review. See the word, recall the meaning, then flip to check. Mark as correct or wrong to track mastery.
2. Multiple Choice
Pick the correct definition from 4 options. Distractors are drawn from other words in your Word Book for plausible challenge.
3. Fill Blank
The original context sentence is shown with the target word blanked out. Type the missing word from memory.
4. Dictation
Hear the word spoken aloud via TTS, then type what you heard. Tests both listening comprehension and spelling.
5. Match
Match words to their definitions by pairing them together. Multiple pairs shown at once for a matching exercise.
6. Reorder
A translated sentence is scrambled into individual words. Drag or tap to reorder them into the correct sequence.
7. Album (game-screen practice)
Practice words on the game screens you saved them from. Keep scenes in an Album, then practice with the captured screen as context. This replaces the old standalone Context Quiz. See Album.
8. Pronounce
See a word or sentence, speak it into your microphone, and get an accuracy score. Uses local Whisper speech recognition — no cloud needed. See Pronunciation for details.
